40 weeks

So I have always been a believer that “ Faith in God, includes Faith in his timing.” When I need to remember this the most, I feel the most overwhelmed. I went to the doctor yesterday for my 40 week OB check up. Well I was expecting them to tell me that I was dilated and that I was going to be induced today ( Tuesday) and that I would have our baby home by Christmas.. All day on Sunday I was having regular contractions starting at 8:10 am at 15 mins apart then at 2 they became every 7 mins apart, then at 6 they became every 4-5 mins apart. I was thinking, “Ok! Awesome.. This is it!!” Called my doctor at 9 and he said to come in to the hospital, but gave me the option to stay home. I chose to stay home to wait it out.. At 10:30pm I told Jason to go to sleep, while I rested.. Well I fell asleep.. And labor stopped. So when I went into the office on Monday the Doc told me my body just wasn’t ready to have the baby or to get induced yet, and that it would be REALLLLY rough on my body, and the best thing for the baby is to wait it out.. Man I HATE to wait.. Before we went into the appointment we said a prayer that whatever the outcome was, we could except it and know that it is for the best.. ( I of course not thinking this was going to be the result) I guess Heavenly Father had other plans in store for us.. And once again he was trying to teach me patience.
Also something else that kept frustrating me was people kept saying, ESPECIALLY JASON!!, how cool it would be if the baby was born on Christmas.. I personally hope not for the sake of the child.. it will NEVER have its own special day.. My sister said yes but it would be cool if it was able to “share” a birthday with Christ. After thinking about this, I realized that this in itself is not bad. We found out on Easter morning.. and if the baby decides it wants to come on Christmas morning, that will be an amazing blessing and Christmas present.. ( that and no one will ever forget its birthday ;)
I am trying hard to stay busy, and stay as comfortable as possible.. I never thought I would be carrying around a bowling ball in my gut, and that my ankles would seize to exist. Or that I would have to hoist myself out of bed, off the floor, out of the car, off the couch.. and anywhere else I decided to sit/lay/squat down to. All-in-all I can’t complain too much. This pregnancy hasn’t been too rough, and I hope that whatever blessings of children Heavenly Father want to give us in the future won’t be so hard as well.
I am truly blessed to know that our baby is coming soon, its healthy, and we are starting an eternal family during this Christmas season. Heavenly Father has blessed me so much this year, and I can never quite express my gratitude for the things I have received, for the lessons I have learned, and for the love I have felt.

Christmas party

This past weekend we had the oppertunity to attend both a ward Christmas party and Jason's work Christamas party. Above is a picture of me at 38 weeks and 5 days. The party itself was AMAZING! It was held at a beautiful golf club house, and had soo much good food. We even won a really pretty center piece with a game that was played.

Week 37..

So I am only 21 days away from my due date.. I am hoping it decides to come before then.. Oh how i would love that!! Here is a current picture of my ever expanding belly. I cant believe it is already "weighing" in at 5 lbs 14 oz!! I am soo excited to be able to hold my daughter or son!

Turkey day!!

So Turkey day was amazing.. I am so grateful for having my family live so close by. We didn’t get around to taking any pictures of the dinner or the day but I did get a picture of my ever expanding belly. Here it is at 36 weeks and 3 days.. bare belly!!

32 weeks 5 days

So we are at 32 weeks 5 days and We are are able to feel the outlines of the baby's body parts :) I cant wait to meet this little one.

Growing, New Addition, and wedding..

This week has been full of adventure in our family. Kimberly is now 23 weeks pregnant and we can see our baby bouncing around in her tummy. We also added a new family member to our family in the form of a dog. Her name is Reba and she is a beautiful Sheba Inu. Our cats Meka and Fritz are slowly coming around to liking her. We will occasionaly hear Fritz meowing and we tell Reba to put him down.. She likes to lift him up by his leg. On Thursday of this week we left EXTREAMLY early from Buffalo to fly down to Omaha, Nebraska for Ben (Jasons brother) and Rachels wedding. It was a beautiful ceramony and alot of fun. We now leave again at 4:30 am to catch a flight back to Buffalo in the Morning.. Great week but long..

Last week we had an ultrasound where they were unable to find out what our little modest baby is.. we do one one thing.. it is HEALTHY!!! we are so excited..

16 weeks

I really havnt written much regarding the past couple weeks. I am now 16 weeks and feeling it.. I am on strict orders from my mother to cut back on my salt intake and keep me feet above my head when they start to swell.. I started to cramp really bad earlier today (Doc said Normal) and realized my feet, ankles, calfs, and KNEES were all swollen.. So I am now laying here with two couch cusions under my feet so they are clearly a foot or so above my head.. oh the joys of pregnancy.. One more week till we hear this little ones heart beat again.. Cant wait! I am also going to include in this post a pic of my point of view. :)

Feeling Our Miracle Baby

Last night when I was laying on my back just thinking I felt the baby move for the first time! I am so excited "he" is doing well and getting so big.. Here is a picture of the baby.. Jason and I are so excited that we are blessed with a beautiful little baby..

Just got back from an ultrasound.. 13wks... We found out that Baby B stopped growing at 8 weeks.. We will miss our little angel so much.. I fully belive " Faith in God includes faith in his timing." We will one day be able to raise that baby.. Maybe not in this life, but in the next...

Baby A is doing well and measuring at 13wks3dys.. It was waiving to us and stretching its little legs and could see its little feet. We are so blessed to still have this little on in our lives.. Doc has me on bed rest for the next month.. and hopefully everything will be ok with Baby A... Please keep us in your prayers.. We appreciate it so much...

Popping!

So Jason and I woke up Monday morning glad that we hit the 12 week mark and just like every other morning his kisses the babies to say good morning.. I get up to use the rest room and he says that I look "rounder". So today I decide to take my belly measurements and find that in the last 2 weeks alone my belly has gained almost 8 inches!! I knew it was getting bigger ( I could feel the weight shifting from my sides to the front) but I didn't know it was that Big.. I thought it might just be extra weight i am carrying but I have lost 10 pounds in the past month alone.. Its funny just last week 3 people who were complete strangers asked me when the "blessed event" was.. I really didn't know I was showing.. Its nice to actually start looking pregnant instead of just feeling fat all the time :)

So we are soo excited that we are starting a family that I ( Kimberly) cant contain it... So I just wanted to share with the world the first glimpse of my growing belly. It is still mostly just fat but we are getting excited that it is rounding out and and is starting to get hard..




Every day we Thank God for our two little miracles who at this point are nick named Bessie and George.

We are Doubly blessed.

So this past Wednesday we went to get our second ultrasound done.. Hoping everything was alright the ultrasound tech starts..
We see one sac on the screen and something next to it.. She says to my husband and I “ has any one told you if you are expecting more then one?” I said, “uh No” a little surprised why she was asking that question.. Her response. “Well you know now.” And shows us the second baby. Jason was smiling from ear to ear and it came as a complete shock to every one, except for my mom, she told us the night before we were having twins..
We were able to see both heart beats and the babies are doing well.. I cant believe after all this time God not only heard our prayers but he doubled our blessings.. Thank you God…. We are soo blessed..

Our Easter Suprise

Well the one month that we weren't really trying.. it happened.. We are finally pregnant after 39 months of trying to conceive..

We got our first very first BFP on Easter morning, and confirmed yesterday morning with another FRER test and got a nice dark line.. Then we got confirmation today that we are indeed pregnant from the doctor.. our HCG level is still low at 49 but we are definitely pregnant.. Our EDD is December 22nd!! SOOO Excited.

Remodeling our Apartments

This past two weeks we have been remodeling our apartments. We have been really busy.

Valentines day was soo nice.. I got to sleep in (which if you know me, I love) and then I went over to my moms house to help my little sister Katy with her hair and make-up for her V-day dinner with her boyfriend…
When I Came home (late) my husband had a beautiful bouquet of yellow roses (my favorite) on the table with such a lovely note.. He wasn’t home due to me needing time to make his dinner. I made him his favorite.. To start, appetizers: Spinach salad with some balsamic vinaigrette, and some crab cakes, for the entrée: Lobster tail, shrimp fettuccini alfredo, salt potatoes, and some sautéed mushrooms… and for dessert: Chocolate covered strawberries (from scratch).. We had dinner (actually I didn’t eat anything) and then started on our way to a concert where this orchestra was playing love songs.( part of Jasons present) I started to feel sick at dinner, and had to turn around when we got there.. I felt so bad.. Jason’s present to me was a deluxe Diamond edition of Scrabble, ( a game we love playing, even though he always whips my butt). We came home and played scrabble till it was late, and I fell asleep..

Possible House?

So our friend Calista and Dain are in the procoess of potentially buying a house with some land on it... 45 acres to be exact.. Well its in the Rome Ward... and they want us to build on it.. we would LOVE to build a house. We want only about 8-10 acres... not too much.. but enough to build a simple house... well here it is...

4.) I have to make sure everything is perfect… but I procrastinate making it that way…

6.) I cry almost every day, usually over a TV show…
7.) I love working out, but hate sweating..

9.) I love the snow, but hate the cold…
10.) I love baking but don't like sweets..
